I haven’t been posting too many grocery shopping trips because most of the time I don’t get to the store until Monday or Tuesday and the sale is over Wednesday.  Who wants to hear about good shopping trips that they can’t replicate?  LOL  But today I went shopping and scored some great deals so I thought I’d share.

Since I had a $10 off $40 Sweetbay coupon I went shopping early this week.  I’ll be going back on Sunday to use another one of the coupons and get to use any of the new coupons.  If I’d been counting a bit better I could have saved even more and saved a few more coupons for my next trip, oh well I still did great so here’s the break down

• 2 Bags of Fresh Express Salad Mix BOGO $3.69  I had no coupons for this but I’m on a quest to eat healthier especially when it’s just me to feed so these will help
• 2 Pepperridge Farms Rolls  BOGO $3  -2 $1 coupons from the 4/10 SS making them .50 each not a bad price for dinner rolls
• 6 bags Birds Eye Veggies  they were 50% off this week making them .89 each  -3 $1/2PQ from the Spring Savings book and 2 $1/3 mq from 3/20 SS making them 6 cents a bag
• 2 John Frieda Root Awakening Shampoo $5.49 each  -2 $3 mq from 5/1 SS and 2 $2PQ from the green flyer to get them for .49 each
• 2 pks of Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs BOGO $3.29  - 2 $1mq from 4/10 SS  making them .65 each
• 6 Crystal Light packs BOGO $2.99  -2 B2G1 coupons from 4/3 SS making them .50 each
• 2 Boxes of Snack Packs BOGO $5.99  No coupons for this either but I was feeling generous to Shawn since I had the sweetbay coupon
• The Coffee-Mate, Wholly Gauc and the Soft Scrub I had free coupons for from various trials

So are you wondering how much I spent????  My total was  drumroll please  $9.65!!!  Now without the snacks and salad I could have spent almost nothing but I live in the real world where sometimes things are just needed I plan on doing a similar trip on Sunday but with meat and more veggies.
